Cincinnati Reds announcer Thom Brennaman has been suspended indefinitely after using a anti gay slur to reference the Kansas City Royals (the team Cincinnati was currently playing) during a live broadcast on Fox Sports Cincinnati. Brennaman apologized for using the slur but he apologized while also calling a home run which made viewers even more upset. He is as of now possibly out of a job. Thom Brennaman is the son of former Cincinnati Reds announcer Marty Brennaman who retired after the 2019 MLB season.
