Ryan Shazier Former Ohio State Linebacker Retires From The NFL.

The hopes of a comeback for Ryan Shazier in the NFL won't happen because the Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker has announced his retirement from professional football. In a video posted to Twitter this morning Shazier announced he is stepping away from the game while saying he will still continue to support and enjoy the game. During his short career his stats include 7 interceptions, 25 passes defended, 7 forced fumbles, 3 fumbles recovered, 202 tackles, and 24 tackles for a loss. He was also selected into the pro bowl twice in 2016 & 2017. And during his college career he played for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2011-2013 earning First-Team All-Big Ten and First-Team All-American in 2013, he also lead the Big Ten in tackles, tackles for a loss and forced fumbles and helped lead the Buckeyes to 2 Big Ten Leaders Division Titles, a Big Ten Championship appearance in 2013 and an Orange Bowl appearance in 2014. In 2017 his pro career came to a halt when he suffered a spinal injury during a Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals. So now what will Ryan Shazier do now that his fully retired? Only time will tell what is next for this football great. I wish Ryan Shazier the best in his retirement.
