The Big Ten says no to fall sports.

This week the Big Ten Conference the biggest conference in all of college sports decided in a meeting with all the colleges in the Big Ten a 12-2 vote to cancel the fall sports season and try to postpone it till the spring. The two colleges that voted to not cancel fall sports were Iowa and Nebraska. This decision has lead many fans saddened about the upcoming college football season where they hoped their favorite Big Ten team would win it all. But some of these Big Ten teams might decide to join other conferences like the Big 12, the ACC and the SEC so that they can give their players a season. Last month Division 1A independent team Notre Dame joined the ACC so that they wouldn't be going up against no one since all of their scheduled games before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the U.S. were canceled. There has been some speculation that Nebraska might rejoin the Big 12 Conference for this season only so that they can get playing time for their players. Nebraska hasn't been in the Big 12 since leaving the conference to join the Big Ten after the 2010-11 college football season. But will other Big Ten teams like Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State and Iowa consider joining other conferences? Only time will tell if we ever see these Big Ten teams play their sports again.
